Booking Policy

Please read them carefully as they contain information that pertains to your booking. If you have any questions check out our FAQs, or contact us directly. 

We offer two different methods of booking your coasteering session. 

1. Contacting us directly. 

By contacting us directly to book your coasteering session we will deal with payment and any refunds directly. We do not charge a booking fee. Our normal cancellation policy applies.

2. Filling out an online booking form. 

Payment is made online via the Beyonk booking system. A small booking fee of 4%+VAT is charged, up to a maximum fee of £10. Our cancellation policy applies. If you make the cancellation we will refund you, minus any transaction fees. If Coasteering Now has to cancel, we will fully refund you and cover any transaction fees.

•  Payment must be made in full prior to the activity date unless otherwise specified. In the case of cash being used to pay for the session on the date of the activity, this must be done before the activity commences.  

•  We ask that larger groups pay a deposit to secure your desired booking date and session time. 
• To secure your session we ask for a non-refundable 50% deposit. With the remaining balance due 30 days before the date of your session. 

•  If you’d like to cancel your session between 14 and 30 days of your session date, we will offer to refund the balance, or try to come up with a mutually agreeable future date for your session. 
• No refund will be given to cancellations made within 13 days of the session date, but we will try to come up with a mutually agreeable future date.
• If Coasteering Now has to cancel your session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g poor weather), we will offer to refund you your payment in full (including deposit), offer an alternative activity, or try to come up with a mutually agreeable future date for coasteering. 

•  We require every participant to accurately fill out a medical consent form prior to the activity. This information is not shared with anyone other than staff working directly with you and is stored in regulation with GDPR.
• We will verbally ask before the session if there is anything new or important for us to know concerning your medical and physical health whilst taking part in this physical adventurous activity. This is another opportunity for participants to be honest and share this information with the staff working with you on the day.
• Before the session we will require every participant to read, understand, ask questions and sign an acknowledgement of risk form. If you'd like to read through this you can click here.

•  We run our sessions in 3 hour blocks. With the expectation that there are 2 hours spent in the water doing the activity, with 30 minutes at the start and end of the session to get ready.
• While we will do our best to provide 2 hours in the water, sometimes this is not appropriate. This could be for a number of reasons including poor weather, dangerous sea conditions, cold sea temperatures, clients being too tired etc. We will always put safety as a top priority, and we are constantly making decisions as to whether it is appropriate to continue a session or not. 
• We encourage a “Challenge By Choice” approach to our coasteering sessions. Which means we will never force you to do anything you’re not happy doing. There is, however, a good chance you will be outside of your comfort zone at times. We encourage you to be honest with both us and yourself, and communicate how you are feeling throughout the session.

•  We expect you to arrive on time to your coasteering session. This is for a couple of reasons. Firstly to ensure that you get the most time out of your session as possible, arriving late will often mean we have to cut your session shorter than normal. And secondly, it’s likely that there will be other people on your session with you. If you arrive late we may leave without you, as to give those who arrived on time a full session.
• Sometimes we can be flexible about start times, if there is any chance you will be late please do your best to communicate this with us as soon as possible.

• Gift vouchers may be redeemed using the online booking form. Simply choose your desired date and time slot and enter your gift voucher details at payment.
• Coasteering Now suggests that you try book your session at least 1 month before your preferred session date - this is to ensure we can give you a session on your preferred date. 
• If Coasteering is unavailable on the date that you have booked due to weather conditions we will suggest either an alternative outdoor adventure activity or allow you to reschedule your session at the next date that suits you. 
• This gift voucher is non refundable.
